Jardine Juniper - Cottonwood, 6 October, 2024


Trip Summary:
  • Participants:  Laurel, Dave P,  Susan, Brent J, Teresa, Kamren, and Brent L (leader)
  • Drove 15 miles to the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon to leave a "shuttle" car, then 2 miles back to the Wood Camp trailhead
  • Started hiking about 8:45, lunch 11:40 - 12:10, 1:35 at the shuttle car and US-89
  • Clear skies, cold temperatures at the start but warm by noon
  • Hiked about 7 miles with about 1900 feet of ascent and 1800 feet of descent
