Maple Grove Ski/Snowshoe and Soak, 27 February, 2016

Trip Summary:

  • Organized carpools and drove north 52 miles to Maple Grove Hot Springs
  • Started up the Maple Grove Road about 11:45 since our usual route along the Oneida Narrows Road did not have enough snow
  • Back at Maple Grove at 2:00 for a potluck lunch
  • Soaked in the hot pools until about 4:00
  • Back in Logan at 5:20
  • Warm temperatures and calm winds, overcast with a moment of light rain, then partly cloudy
  • Our GPS track showed 4.5 miles with about 800 feet of elevation gain
