Rattlesnake Canyon, 12 May 2024

Trip Summary:
  • 13 Cache Hikers and a dog were on the first scheduled hike of the 2024 summer season
  • Drove 18 miles to the Rattlesnake Trailhead in Wellsville Canyon
  • Hiked about 5 miles with 1000 feet of ascent to a communications tower

Near the beginning of the hike in lower Rattlesnake Canyon

The route leaves Rattlesnake Canyon and follows a service road to the south and east

Mount Pisgah, to the south, with the Cache County TV relay tower and Pisgah Stone Products quarry

Enjoying the scenery from the hike destination

Bear River Range view, from Beirdneau Peak and Logan Canyon on the south to Double Top on the north
