Spring Hollow Snowshoe, 11 January, 2020

A fun group of people enjoyed an easy snowshoe excursion up, down, and around several of the Spring Hollow trails.  Leaving the parking lot about 10:30 a.m., the group headed up the road to the group campsite until we reached the junction of the recently completed trail.  We continued up the hill to the Bridger Look-off, then back down the Old Mill Hollow trail.  The group enjoyed lunch in a grove of trees, sheltered from a light wind. We continued along the River Trail by Third Dam.  Some intrepid trekkers explored the inside of an igloo built at one of the campsites, and we arrived back at the parking lot about 12:30 p.m..  Everyone was PAAF’ed (present and accounted for) at journey’s end.
