Tony Grove Creek Ski/Snowshoe, 2 February, 2020

Trip Summary:
  • 16 Cache Hikers:  Cross-country skiers Teresa (leader), Dave P., and Dave Wallace and snowshoers, Susan, Laurel, Jane, Brent, Kathy, Michelle, David, Chris, Tawnya, Deanna, April, Renee, and Naval, also Jasper (dog)
  • Organized carpools and drove 22 miles to the Tony Grove Winter Trailhead
  • Started out from the trailhead at 11:00, lunch from 12:40 to 1:10, then on to the Tony Grove Road and back to the trailhead about 2:50 and Logan at 3:40  
  • Overcast skies with a forecast of snow, mostly calm winds, 35ยบ F and 39" snow depth at our lunch spot
  • Distance was 4.1 miles with 900 feet of ascent and descent
