2023 Summer
Activity Schedule
Summer hikes usually are scheduled from May to October. Participants meet 8:00 a.m. at the southwest corner of the Smith's Marketplace parking lot at 750 North Main Street in Logan, Utah on days chosen by the hike leader (see below). Participants should bring food, water, appropriate clothing, and parking fees, where applicable. It is the participant’s responsibility to be sure the trip is within his/her ability and stamina, and to have adequate equipment. In most cases the hiker should be prepared with sturdy boots, hat, first aid kit, rain protection, insect repellent, extra clothing, food, water, and optional hiking poles. Contact the trip leader for more information. The Cache Trails book is a good source of information for many of the activities.. Other resources include the Cache Valley Visitors Bureau and the Logan Ranger District. Of special interest are the well-done Logan Canyon Hiking Trails website, by Sarah Ohms, the Trails Illustrated map, and the new Cache County Trails Cache website. |
