Description
|
This
is a new trail, with the last section opening
in November 2012. To get to the trailhead, drive
south on 100 East in Providence and park at the first
parking area at the mouth of the canyon. The trail
starts at a footbridge over Spring Creek, 0.1 miles up
the Providence Canyon Road from the parking area.(other
access points are found along the road). The trail
allows non-motorized travelers to bypass the vehicle traffic and other
activity on the Providence Canyon Road. This new
route promises to be a popular with hikers,
mountain bikers and snowshoers.
