Name Spring Hollow Trail
USFS Trail Number
124
Geographic Area Logan Canyon, south side
Length
5 miles from the Spring Hollow campground to the Logan Peak Road
Description
Beginning at the Spring Hollow campground (commonly known as "Third Dam"), this trail runs from the group picnic sites to the Logan Peak road.   The first 3/4 mile is fairly steep as it passes by the Spring Hollow Spring and the junction with the Crimson Trail. The Forest Service fairly recently re-routed the upper portion with a series of switchbacks, adding one mile to the trail and changing the point where it intersects the Logan Peak Road.  Topographic maps do not show this new section, so we are providing a GPS track below, FYI.   Hikers can avoid the steep lower section by taking the "Bridger Look-off" trail section.
