Access via US 89 in Logan Canyon, near mile marker 484. Here, the Franklin Basin Road follows the Logan River as it continues northwest toward Idaho, while US 89 turns northeast to follow Beaver Creek. A number of destinations are accessible, including Steam Mill Canyon, Peterson Hollow, Steep Hollow, and Crescent Lake. In winter, the parking area at the Franklin Basin Winter Trailhead is plowed and the Franklin Basin Road is groomed for snowmobiles and cross-country skiers.
