2021 Winter Activity Schedule

We are scheduling trips for the winter of 2021 with COVID-19 precautions:

  • Participants will provide their own transportation to avoid the need for carpooling. To accommodate additional vehicles, leaders have chosen locations that have larger trailhead parking capacity. Trips have been scheduled for days when fewer other users are expected, and no trips will require a car shuttle.
  • Participants will maintain social distance and other current protocols.
  • The trip leader may offer a nearby alternative hike if group size is too large.
Winter trips are scheduled from January to mid-March.  Visitors are welcome!

Meet 10:00 a.m.
at the southwest corner of the Smith's Marketplace parking lot at 750 North Main Street in Logan, Utah unless specified otherwise.   The trip leader determines the anticipated return time and any need to alter plans, if necessary.

Prepare for the activity:
Bring food, water, and extra clothing, and a donation for gas if carpooling.  Make sure your equipment is adequate and that you have the skill and stamina necessary for the trip. Trail crampons ("cleats" or "spikes") may be useful if conditions are not suitable for skis or snowshoes.
