2019 Winter
Activity Schedule
Winter trips are scheduled from
January to mid-March. Visitors are welcome!
Meet 10:00 a.m. at the southwest corner
of the Smith's Marketplace parking lot at 750 North Main
Street in Logan, Utah unless specified
otherwise. The trip leader determines the
anticipated return time and any need to alter plans, if
necessary.
Prepare for the activity: Bring
food, water, extra clothing, and a donation for gas if
carpooling. Make sure your equipment is adequate and
that you have the skill and stamina necessary for the
trip.

The Cache Hikers will host a winter moonlight excursion in Franklin Basin on Saturday. This is an easy snowshoe or cross-country ski activity, about 5 miles round trip. Meet 6:00 p.m. at the southwest corner of the Smith's Marketplace parking lot at 750 North Main Street, with an expected return about 11:00 pm. Bring a headlamp/flashlight, warm drink and warm clothing. |

This is a moderately difficult snowshoe or a challenging cross-country ski activity, about 4 miles of off-trail travel and a beautiful high elevation trek with great views of Beaver Mt. and peaks to the west, and an expected return about 4:00 p.m. Car shuttle required. |
